In this adult blog, it is my hope that you find things that make you think, give you opportunity to voice your opinion, and allow us to be a community of people who care - even if from afar - for eachother. Be welcome and let your heart be heard.

ABSOLUTELY TRUE! HAVE EXPERIENCED IT MYSELF! BEST POST I'VE SEEN TODAY!!!!! God, I miss my Bulwinkle. He, above all others, did not care at all that I am gay!
I also agree, although I will add that my Milo gives me as much love and comfort as a cat can do. Our home has always had at least one of those special people in it, which may is one reason it is "home". Hugs
Dogs and Cats, the only animals I have any real experience, seem to know the heart of a person. The seem to see our heart, to respond to our heart, and as a result, could care very little about the simplistic exteriors. There is a great deal we can learn from our pets.
hello Jay, nice to meet you, The truth is with my childhood I would not have survived with out out my wonderful black lab. After each beating, after each time I was used...( pleased ask another time as I an circling the void now } my black lab was there, pressing in to me and licking me, as I cried she would stay as close as she could. It left a impression on me that they know things I may not..so do animals have feelings, do they have soul, yes I say...because in my case maybe my mind is where it is because a little small black lab loved me more than I can know, and took my nightly tears....many hugs
Hi, Scottie! My Bullwinkle was instrumental in keeping me on an even keel when my life was yanked out from under my feet totally unexpectedly in 2007. I'd sit on the floor and he'd just drape his big, fat head over my thigh and sigh as I petted him. Hugs to you, too! Peace <3 Jay

Hi Scottie;
I do agree - the true mark of a home, in my mind, is the presence of animal hair!
hugs!
