some pics to share

Hi Friends;

A couple pics to share with you. The first lands directly in the "awww" category, and the second in another category all together. When we look at the rights of individuals, they are truly rights, not things we have a difficult time getting our religion around. America is not governed by religion, but by a Constitution that states "all men are created equal". No where does it state that only those who are straight can be equal, or some are more equal than others, or you are only equal if you fall into this political group.

Hi Randy,
we only can hope, that chronicle events can change the mind of the political establishment. Since the "französchische Revolution" the slogan Freiheit , Gleichheit , Brüderlichkeit (französisch. liberté, égalité, fraternité) is generally valid. Do we have them? Do we need another "Revolution"?

Hello Randy. Ron keeps telling me we are headed for a revolution here in the states, but I just don't see it. People are either too complacent, too distracted, or too uninformed. I love the pictures. I hope your day is well. We are off to Busch Gardens. Hugs

Hi Scottie and Nikki;

I think we are all on the same thought....and sooner or later, following the frame of zeitgeist - when the time is right and people are ready for change, I think there will be a drastic change. Complacency has a very elastic quality and is quite willing to suffer the straws piled upon the back. There will come the one final straw, though, that breaks the back of complacency and people will fight back. Politicians and businessmen are smart, though; they have a general feel for where that straw lies. So, while I think a revolution is in the mix, people aren't generally oppressed enough.
I agree with all three of you, Nikki, Scottie, and Ron. Sort of gives a weird moment where you arene't sure what to root for now, huh?

I love the new look of your page. It inspired me to try a new one. I have more room on it for stuff, but hate the way the colors change everything. I have tried several different colors and either the words fade out or the back ground rips your eyes out. I will keep playing with it. Hugs

Hi Scottie;
I like the way that the cartoons really stand out now, but you are right, the text is hard to read. I tried with a number of variations before finding something that I liked....something that offered contrast that wasn't dazzling to the eyes. Not sure I found what I wanted, but the search is half the fun. I do like how you are able to use a much larger portion of your space, though.
I'm taking the weekend off work...outside the house work. I have a lot to get done here; painting, clean-up, and I bought a pizza and some beer, so I'll need to take care of those, too :D.
hugs to you;
randy.
