Say it loud! We are NOT second class!
Sometimes, when things are going slow, it seems like they are going no where. But, if we simply look behind, what a trip it's been. Thank you to all you who have gone before us, blazing a trail.
It is OK to be different, to be your self, and to become what you dream. You need not ask permission for these things, no one can give it to you, and if they try to prevent it they are fighting a rising tide that will sweep them away.
I am not sure I would say I was gay even though I think there is nothing wrong with it at all. I do say I am Scottie, the best Scottie I can be, I am male, I love a male person and have a 21+ year relationship. I am more than gay. I am a person whose name is Scottie, I am human. So are you. Welcome to the club, fellow humans.
