In this adult blog, it is my hope that you find things that make you think, give you opportunity to voice your opinion, and allow us to be a community of people who care - even if from afar - for eachother. Be welcome and let your heart be heard.

Randy, You're right with your agenda - you should send them to the UN. but: Do we need a specific agenda for homosexuals? Do we not simply need to rename your "agenda for homosexuals" in "agenda for humans"? Nikki
Hello Randy Nikki's phrase 'human agenda' was the first thing that sprung to my mind, too. And to answer the question - there's nothing wrong with it, if even a modicum of rational thought is applied. But that, of course, is where it falls down - religious belief, and the reactionary political systems it encourages, is the absolute antithesis of rationality. Rather than thinking about issues critically and coming to logical conclusions based on evidence, believers are expected to suspend their higher thought processes utterly, and accept exactly what they're told, however implausible. 'Orthodoxy means not thinking, not needing to think. Orthodoxy is unconsciousness' Orwell said in Nineteen Eighty-Four. If there's a better definition of 'faith', in a religious sense, I've yet to see it.
Hello Nikki and Sammy; Wonderful to hear from you both. It seems every time I read the papers, watch the news, or look deeper here on the net, I see some "person" harping about the so-called "homosexual agenda". I didn't know we had an agenda outside that of, as you both say, the human agenda: to be treated fairly and with respect. Come to find out, that's the homosexual agenda as well. Go figure.
