Dark night of the soul.

Philip Wesley - Dark night of the soul

Hello Friends;
  I came across this music recently.  I grew up in the time of Ozzy, AC/DC, Guns & Roses.  And though my heart beats to the thump and scream, I first began to realize that there was more to music when I found Blues.  Then, I found music like Enya, and this... Philip Wesley.  I could have this playing in the background and get all my work done or none at all - depending on if my heart became trapped in the melody.
  Please give it a try when you have a few moments to relax.  I think it will be a lift to your heart - or, it may allow the tears to fall.  Depends on what's in your heart at the time, I guess.
hugs.

Pretty cool music. I like it!
Thanks! I, too, grew up on AC/DC, Aerosmith, Kiss, all the heavy metal groups of the day! It's nice to hear something different and soothing.

Peace <3

Hi Jay;
I've found that there are so many different aspects to pure music. I love the movements, the way it can draw me into it.
I must admit, while I enjoy most early years R & B, what passes as that now seems beyond horrible to me. Same with country - I like much of the older stuff, but the new stuff gets me aggravated. Too often both forms are almost "fill in the blank" type of music - unimaginative and uninspired, without movement or emotion. Now, perhaps others would disagree and tell me that I just don't get it. I guess that's fair.

Some of the modern stuff really is bad. I've actually started listening to what I guess would be coined "alternative", Mumford and Sons, Fun, Phillip Phillips, some others. Interesting stuff. As to the country, the only station here in Richmond runs the same ol' shit over and over until you're sick of it. I cannot figure out how they stay on top of the ratings.

Hi Jay;

Wondering... Have you ever used Pandora.com? It's free, well - there are irritating ads now and again. But, that is where I heard this song first.
If you haven't used it before, give it a try.

Actually I do have Pandora. Use it a lot. I also use Slacker Radio a bit, to listen to cool stuff from an NPR station in Minneapolis - 89.3 The Current.
