My Friend;
If you go to the dog pound or to a rescue organization, you can find you a friend just like this.
But, I think you are referring to the two legged kind.... and in that, I do agree. Very much.

Well, both actually. I am sort of concerned about getting another pet. I don't want to outlive one. And at my age, that's possible, I fear. Selfishly, I like having the freedom to come and go without a pet to worry about. I know that sounds horrible, but I have raised from 6 weeks old to death two wonderful rescued dogs, so I don't feel toooo guilty! And if I wasn't working with ROSMY, I'd be at the Richmond Animal League!

Hi Scottie;
As you and others who read this know, it has been a long road for me to feel comfortable being me. I'm getting to where I like me, and I'm also doing better with not caring if others don't. I don't want to be callous or indifferent to my weaknesses, more that I am who I am and that's ok.
As such, here I am! ;)

hugs;

Hello Randy, but isn't that the point? We are who we are, what we are, who we have been, what we may become, and in it all we are humans. Humans who both fly with angels and crash with devils. One thing I refuse to allow anyone to ask for is forgiveness for being WHO they are. Now you decide to be WHAT you are, and if that what is something that needs adjusting OK, so be it. But WHO we are can't not be adjusted ( not much really ) and that demands the right to be accepted and free from others whims. Hugs and great dreams. Scottie
