This struck me

People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway. If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

  In this age of ME, in this time of NOW, in this era of anger, retribution, revenge, road rage, confusion and hopelessness, in this time of judgement, lies, defeatists, even in all of this, rides a wave of compassion still.  Even still.  So, as you look upon your neighbor in modes of unruly passion, and this is true for me having been angered today by accusations of one who thought he could say I've not done my job because I wasn't doing his job, so as WE look upon our neighbors, maybe we can remember this message given by one of those who demonstrated compassion so very well.

Hi Randy, let me make a littele bit of advertisment for a well known website. It is
http://amars-world.com

WHY not attend Amar's?
In my eyes he is some tower of hope, yeah, Randy, I really admire him, because of his stands, AND because of him setting standards, I can agree with. :)

I know, it is just a small, a bit of "secluded" Island , where he shows, what could be possible, if love and trust - and NOT hate - dominated.

And in my opinion he shows us the only possible way to a general change, cause he and all his friends belong to at least the upper middle class. No one else could initiate any change from outside the leading political class.

It is a good thing, that he is really clever, has in his young age a great lot of knowledge of human nature, he is eloquent - and last but not least, he is a really loving man, being able to act as a leader by example.

So I everyday wait patiently for 8.00pm coming up, and I can go over to Amars' and read, -- and feel a bit as a member of his community. :)

Enough of praise? :)

Hello My Friend;
I am a great fan of Amar. He has actually taught me a fair bit, and I really enjoy visiting his blog. As you may recall, I recently had a link to his blog. I've taken that down NOT because I have any disagreement or dislike of him or his site, but because I am changing the focus of my own blog.
But, to go on, I agree with you completely. I so wish I had grown up with someone like Amar and his friends. I can't help but to wonder sometimes how my life would have gone in such a case.
Thank you for speaking out for him....not that he needs it but due to the fact that he deserves it.
hugs;
randy.

Hi Randy,
thanks for your commenting back.
It was also your posted pic. of that nun, holding that baby.
It just soo much reminded me of Amars - of course, not the age of her reminded me -, but his ability to let flow his empathy, in case he feels his heart drawn to a kid or a boy.
And than his brain kicks in. :)

Wish you all the best with lovin' and carin' hugs.

to grow, to be the best we can be, to develop our selves, to have compassion and empathy for others, to love unconditionally, to accept the differences in others, to accept gracefully that which we can not change, to be strong in enough in our selves to change that which we should. These are the things I think we should all aspire to every day. Hugs Scottie
