Hello Randy. That is a very interesting concept. I wonder what else he was going to say. I understand Budda said that wants...my wants, your wants..are what cause us pain. When we want so badly and don't get , we suffer. I think I can understand that.

Fear is the mind killer I think. I see what it does to the Pt's and their families, I see it reflected in their vitals. I my self suffer fear. I have dreams where I am over compensating for something, doing an action to an extreme and I know it is because my mind has a fear and my minds way of dealing with it is a dream in which I can conquer or control that which caused the fear.
They say fear is a good thing for us as a survival device but I wonder why some can take fear out of there lives and some can't. and the other thing is what frightens one person doesn't even affect another.

Many hugs. Scottie

Hi Scottie;
The interesting thing, this vid did prompt me to get some buddhist books - and providing I actually read them....
Living in the now. I am myself a "what-if"er. If not careful, I can worry my way into trying to be prepared for any eventuality, any consequence, any reaction...and then don't live. I guess as with most things, we find something interesting as it relates to our self. I wonder about that - living in the now, and how so much of the things I am concerned about would never even come about.... what a concept.

hugs;
