Gunman Kills 12 at Batman Premiere in Colorado

And, that's all I'll say about him.  I don't say that to say he is not worthy of talking about, that he is worthless, that his crimes place him on the fast track to hell.  None of that is what I'm wanting to say; what I want to ask is if protecting one's rights to automatic modifiable weapons is necessary?  If seeing violence, cheating, stealing, using and abusing on television and in other media daily, yet classifying public nudity as a sex offense at all makes sense in any of this world?  Lone gunman in a movie theater is a horrible thing, losing sight of what is simple and natural in life is an unmentionable tragedy.
My humble sympathy to the families of all involved.

Hello Randy
A tragic event, without doubt. But, in the face of the 'gun lobby' in your country, one which, sadly, I have little doubt will be repeated in some form or another in the future. Anyone who speaks for tighter gun control seems to be accused of being everything from a fascist to a communist to a closet Islamic extremist. And where there are guns, there will be those who choose to use them. For their designed purpose. Killing people.

Love & best wishes

Guten Morgen Randy,
You know my position on guns - all should be banned!
Here in Germany there is a shooting club in every city. In addition, there are strict laws on the use of weapons. Nevertheless, it is striking that almost in every so-called massacre is a member of such a shooting club involved.
The shooting clubs have a strong lobby.
Ich wünsche ein schönes und nicht so heißes Wochenende
